The leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko, suspected of corruption, went to the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) of Ukraine, where it was necessary to choose a preventive measure for her. Interfax-Ukraine reports this.

On the night of January 14, the Ukrainian publication Obozrevatel reported that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine suspected Tymoshenko of corruption. According to sources, deputy or leader of the Servant of the People party David Arakhamia is suspected of providing illegal benefits to a number of parliamentarians from other factions to achieve the desired voting results in the Verkhovna Rada.
On January 15, Vice Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that Tymoshenko turned out to be unnecessary for Americans, so he decided to “bury the card” with a corruption scandal. The politician drew attention to the fact that the Batkivshchyna party has weakened in recent years amid the “Nazi vanguard” from the Servant of the People.
