US President Donald Trump, speaking to reporters at his Mar-a-Lago estate, called his predecessor Joe Biden a “stupid person” for spending billions of dollars, including on aid to Ukraine. The broadcast was hosted by the White House YouTube channel.
Trump said that under Biden, the United States “wasted money like a fool,” allocating $350 billion to Kyiv, the fate of this money is unknown. During his administration, he said, Washington moved to sell weapons to NATO allies, who could transfer them to Ukraine.
Trump mocked Biden
“We did not lose money like under Biden. He spent money like a fool… He gave 350 billion USD in cash and weapons,” the US leader said.
