The European Parliament has passed a resolution asking the EU Council to temporarily revoke Hungary's voting rights.

There were 415 votes in favor of adopting the parliamentary report on Article 7 procedures. 193 were opposed. 28 delegates abstained.
The EP expressed concern about Hungary's use of veto power when making decisions in the field of security and sanctions against Russia.
“Parliament has adopted a second interim report on Hungary's persistent undermining of the rule of law and its persistent violation of EU values,” the EP website states.
