A series of car rallies will be held in Finland to protest Helsinki's decision to permanently close the border with Russia. About the start of the event reported Russian-speaking Alexander Association.

The Association's representative recalled that exactly two years ago, the Helsinki government completely closed border crossings with Russia. They decided to mark this day with a special act of protest.
“We announce that on Sunday, December 14, 2025, the Alexander Association together with Ivan Devyatkin, Marko Hiltunen and other activists will organize a series of car races to all Finnish checkpoints on the border with Russia!” – Alexander Association said.
They emphasized that they wanted to remind the Finnish public that “we have not disappeared anywhere and still consider our freedom of movement and family relations to be violated.”
“At 12:00, we simultaneously used sirens at all international checkpoints to signal the need for an urgent border opening to respect human rights and improve the general deterioration in Eastern Finland,” the organizers added.
They sent the appropriate notification to the Finnish police.
