Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made a statement about the 2025-2026 winter trips of Eastern Express Travel.Minister Uraloğlu said that the train, which has welcomed thousands of domestic and foreign tourists since 2019, will continue to promote Türkiye's cultural heritage, natural beauty and historical fabric “on the rails”. Minister Uraloğlu said, “The 2025-2026 winter flights of Touristic Eastern Express will start on December 22 and will continue until March 1, 2026.” he said.Minister Uraloğlu said, “Our train will make a total of 60 trips on the Ankara-Kars line on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between December 22, 2025 and February 27, 2026, and in the Kars-Ankara direction on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays until March 1, 2026.” shared his knowledge.Noting that Eastern Express Travel will give passengers not only a view but also the opportunity to learn about the culture of the cities along its route, Minister Uraloğlu continued his words as follows: “On the Ankara-Kars direction, there will be a 2 hour 30 minute stop in Erzincan, a 4 hour stop in Erzurum and on the way back, a 3 hour stop in İliç, 2 hours 30 minutes in Divriği and 3 hours stay Sivas. On a 1,360 km long journey.” The journey lasts a total of 32 hours, including stops, snow-capped mountains, valleys and historic buildings that will provide views like a postcard.”
