A report from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences said that strong flares have continued to appear on the Sun after a two-week break.

“Strong flare activity was recorded on the Sun, last observed in mid-October and interrupted for 2 weeks. At night, around 4 o'clock Moscow time, an M1.0-class flare occurred on the eastern edge of the star, belonging to the fourth (strong) activity category on the 5-level scale used in solar physics,” said a notice published in the journal Solar Physics. telegram channel laboratory.
It should be noted that this event is a harbinger of a prolonged increase in solar activity, the peak of which will occur during the week of November 3 to 9. On the left edge of the Sun, two powerful centers of activity are observed approaching the Earth.
