Sber's GigaChat neural network has successfully passed the financial analyst (FFA) certification. Artificial intelligence (AI) passed challenging professional exams, completing assignments in micro and macroeconomics, financial accounting, corporate finance, ethics and derivatives.
Testing was conducted in a separate session to ensure objectivity. GigaChat achieved results 10% higher than the required passing score. The corporate finance questions turned out to be the hardest for the neural network, and the “Alternative Investments” section was completed successfully.
The FFA certification, developed by the National Finance Association and the Financial Analysts Association, is a recognized industry standard. The exam consists of two three-hour sessions with 120 questions. Its program was approved by the council with the participation of representatives of the Bank of Russia.
As noted in Sberbank, receiving a certificate confirms the neural network's deep understanding of the financial industry.
