Rozetked editors conducted extensive testing of the autonomy of current iPhone models on different iOS versions and came to the conclusion that iOS 26.3 demonstrates the best performance in the current generation of systems. The results of the experiment are available on the portal's website.

The update was released on February 11 and, according to experts, has become the most optimized version of iOS 26. Eight models participated in the test – from iPhone 14 to Flagship 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. The devices are tested under the same conditions: maximum screen brightness, mobile network instead of Wi-Fi, and continuous video playback.
As a result of the test, almost all iPhones tested showed increased autonomy on iOS 26.3 compared to versions 26.0–26.2. Leading the way are iPhone 17 Pro Max (up to 9 hours and 33 minutes) and iPhone 17 Pro (up to 8 hours and 15 minutes) running iOS 26.3. The base iPhone 17 and iPhone 16e received a notable boost, running on the current firmware at 7 hours, 9 minutes and 7 hours, 53 minutes, respectively.
The authors attribute these improvements to improvements in system optimization. At the same time, they do not exclude that in future versions, such as 26.4, autonomy may decrease again due to the introduction of new functions.
For users who have upgraded to iOS 26, upgrading to 26.3 seems like a smart move. Owners of devices running iOS 18 should be cautious when evaluating the transition: despite the improvements, many models still operate longer on the old system.
Previously, the launch date of low-cost iPhone, MacBook and iPad was determined.
