The iPhone user faces an error in the work of the calendar application that is built after updating to iOS 26. The failure is shown in the inaccurate operation of the search function, Macrumors reports are related to complaints on Apple and Reddit forums.
The problem affects the wide range of devices – from iPhone 13 mini to iPhone 17 Pro. When trying to find previous events, the system usually does not display the results. At the same time, the failure is selected: A part of the requirements continues to work accurately.
The first time mentioned the problem of appearing even during the iOS 26 beta test, it received a series of attention after releasing the last version in mid -September. It should be noted that the error was also preserved in the first beta version of the iOS 26.1 update.
Apple's support service confirms that the company is aware of failure and plans to eliminate it in one of the future updates of the operating system. The adjustment period has not been specified.
IOS 26 was released on September 15 for Apple smartphones, including iPhone 11, iPhone SE (2020) and newer.
