According to the latest messages, Samsung originally planned to update the Galaxy S series in 2026, abandoning the model plus the Pro option and the Edge model. However, due to low sales, Edge Samsung decided to continue producing plus model.
According to the industry from the ELEC, Samsung plans to produce about 300,000 S25 Edge model units from September to December, less than 500,000 S25 plus units. In contrast, the S25 Ultra model and the younger model in the line have much higher demand and their production is planned at 3.4 million and 2.9 million units, respectively.
Regarding Plus, the decision was made because the S25 Plus is the lowest of the other models of this series. But the S25 Edge turned out to be the most unsuccessful person, because the Samsung strategy changed in the direction of conservation of the plus model.
