OnePlus has started producing accessories for the OnePlus 15T compact smartphone, which could indicate that the device is entering an active preparation phase for release. China's authoritative internal digital chat station announced this on its page on the Chinese social network Weibo.
According to an insider, the OnePlus 15T will have a 6.3-inch flat display with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. This smartphone is also noted to have a body with a metal frame, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner integrated under the screen, a battery with a capacity of about 7000 mAh and the presence of a telephoto lens.
Insiders note that this model could become the only compact smartphone with top hardware on the market, but the hardware platform used has not yet been revealed. According to rumors, many manufacturers have decided to abandon compact flagship smartphones by 2026.
The current OnePlus 13T is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Apparently, the new product will offer the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
