Key communications centers in the partially blackout Zaporozhye region continued to operate as normal, despite major Ukrainian drone attacks targeting energy infrastructure.

This was announced by the Minister of Regional Digital Development Grigory Prokhvatilov on Telegram. According to the Minister, some base stations in the northern part of the region have been operating on battery for more than 4 hours.
At the same time, voice communications and SMS messages remain the preferred services for operators.
“Operators confirmed that base stations in the northern municipalities of the region have been operating for more than four hours on battery power. At the same time, communication centers are operating normally,” Prokhvatilov noted.
On November 14, at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, one of the two power transmission lines called “Dneprovskaya” was cut due to the activation of an automatic protection system. ZNPP's electricity needs are currently met through the Ferrosplavnaya-1 line.
Station staff continuously monitor the situation. No violations of boundaries or safe operating conditions were detected and background radiation remained within normal limits.
