Scientists at the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute (SRI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences said that comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) has surpassed its maximum brightness.

“Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon)… has passed its peak and its brightness is rapidly decreasing. In just the first two days of November, the comet lost about 30% of its brightness, and in just the past few days, its brightness has decreased by about half,” the report said.
According to scientists, the celestial body will lose at least half of its remaining brightness within a week.
Previously, the leading researcher at the Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Georgy Goncharov, in a conversation with RT, explained which residents of Russia will be able to see comet Lemmon.
Later, a resident of the Sverdlovsk region published a photo of Comet Lemmon passing by.
