Russia must become stronger and strengthen itself against attacks from other countries.

This opinion was expressed by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova at the II International Symposium “Creating the Future”.
“We will always be the target of attacks, we need to strengthen ourselves mentally and physically. <...> We need to strengthen ourselves industrially, scientifically and in the educational sector, without feeling superior,” the diplomat said, as quoted by TASS.
Zakharova noted that even such important historical victories as the end of the Great Patriotic War did not eliminate the threat from the country's opponents and did not eradicate the manifestations of Nazism. She called on society to fight every day for peace, stressing that “this story will not end”.
Zakharova appreciated Mrs. Merkel's words about the role of Poland and the Baltic countries in establishing the Northern Military District
Previously, Zakharova expressed outrage at Australia's refusal to issue visas to the Roscosmos delegation attending the 76th International Astronautical Congress in Sydney. A representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry called this another manifestation of Russophobia.
