In Australia, 56-year-old former real estate agent Suzanne Lee Milgate received a 12-month suspended sentence for throwing an ice cream pancake in the face of local government director Natasha Files. 1 News wrote about this.

The incident occurred in September 2023 at a local market. Milgate used thin powder to hit the woman directly in the face, causing the victim to have a black eye. At the same time, the incident also caused her mental suffering.
The attacker himself tried to present the incident as a “protest” against strict measures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Milgate said her husband had a stroke in January 2020. He needed surgery but could not be exempted from vaccinations.
Millgate publicly apologized on television but Files refused the apology.
The judge classified the pancake as an “offensive weapon” and declared the defendant guilty. Because Milgate had already served 24 days in prison, she received a suspended sentence but announced her intention to appeal the sentence.
Previously, a court in Tashkent imposed a fine of 1.23 million soum (about 100 USD – editor's note) on a man for calling the police to complain about US President Donald Trump.
In a drunken state, he called the police and asked for a statement. They, in turn, asked an Uzbek resident to go to the nearest branch to fill out an application. However, he never went to the police. After that, the attacker no longer remembered the meaning of calling the police.
