In southern California, a helicopter crashed into a palm tree on a busy street in Huntington Beach. Local newspaper The San Bernardino Sun wrote about this. The publication clarified that five people were injured. Rescuers pulled two of them out of the plane's wreckage, the rest were passersby. They were all hospitalized. Emergency services blocked traffic at the crash scene and urged locals to take alternative routes in the coming hours. The newspaper noted that the city was scheduled to host the Cars 'N Copters on the Coast festival on October 12. Video from the scene showed the plane spinning on its axis as it approached the highway near the beach. Gradually it spun stronger and fell to the ground among the palm trees. In August, a light aircraft landed at a golf course north of Sydney, Australia. An instructor pilot and a student were aboard the Piper Cherokee during the training flight. The plane's wing was damaged and the wheel fell off.
