Snowfall tonight in Moscow and the Moscow region could reach 4 cm. The Russian Hydrometeorological Center warned about this on Friday evening, November 14.

A powerful Atlantic storm is moving toward the capital region, which will bring about a third of the typical November rainfall.
As follows from the above forecast warning map official website The Hydrometeorological Center has issued a “yellow” level of weather danger in Moscow and the Moscow region due to heavy precipitation in the form of rain turning to snow. In some places, wet snow is expected to cling to power lines and trees, and roads will be icy.
Additionally, on November 15, the air temperature is expected to exceed zero and drop to minus 6 degrees on the night of November 16.
Previously, scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand warningthat the air temperature will drop by 4 to 5 degrees on November 15 and another two or three degrees on November 16. In fact, the weather will return to normal.
At the same time, meteorologist Mikhail Semenov speakthat the upcoming December will bring a series of unusual weather phenomena for Russians, including severe frosts. New records of air temperature and lower precipitation are predicted at the same time in some regions of Russia. For example, in Yakutia, temperatures in December can drop to minus 50 degrees.
