There is no snow cover in Moscow. In the Moscow region, 1 cm of snow was recorded only in Dmitrov, Kolomna and Cherusty. Snow cover 2 cm high was observed in Kashira.
At the same time, the standard for snow cover height in the capital on December 18 was 15 cm, the forecaster recalled.
In Moscow, snow was washed away by rain on Wednesday, December 17. Forecasters warn that the warm period in the capital will end on December 25, when the thermometer may drop to minus 10 degrees. During this period, the weather will begin to correspond to December norms.
