Black ice may form on Sunday in Moscow due to temperatures shifting to negative values at night.
This is reported in telegram channel Metropolitan Services Complex (KGH) of Moscow.
“According to forecasters, on the night of December 7 and until 08:00 on December 7 Moscow time, air temperatures in the capital are expected to exceed zero degrees towards minus, which may contribute to the formation of icy conditions,” the report said.
Drivers are asked to be careful and maintain speed and distance limits. The capital's KGH added that city services continuously monitor the condition of the road network, and carry out periodic maintenance in accordance with weather conditions.
