Landscaping work in the area adjacent to the “River Station” transportation center in the north of the capital has ended. Deputy Mayor of Moscow Pyotr Biryukov spoke about this on Saturday, November 8.

The work area includes the section of Festivalnaya Street from Leningradskoye Shosse to Smolnaya Street, including metro exits. During the work, craftsmen removed underground overhead lines, laid a storm water drainage system, expanded sidewalks, paved the road and created a parking lot.
In addition, experts installed 55 energy-saving lamps and 8 street floor lamps, as well as a new bus waiting area. Seven other booths have been moved to more convenient locations for passengers. In addition, more than 3.3 thousand square meters of lawn have been spread on the surrounding area.
