Traffic jams for many kilometers formed amid heavy snowfall in the capital. According to the Yandex Maps service, the greatest traffic difficulties are observed in the city center – cars parked on the northeast, north, northwest and southeast sides of the Garden Ring. In addition, there is no traffic on the outside of the Avenue Ring – from Sretensky Avenue, along the entire length of Rozhdestvensky, Petrovsky and Strastnoy to the intersection with Tverskaya Street.
Heavy traffic was also reported on most of Ring Road 3. On the Moscow Ring Road and outbound highways, the heaviest traffic congestion today is in the east and southeast. There is no traffic outside the Moscow Ring Road: on the section from km 61 (this is the Rublevskoye Highway exit) to km 68 (this is the Volokolamskoye Highway exit).
According to the Hydrometeorological Center, in Moscow, due to bad weather, the yellow weather danger level is valid until 9 p.m., in the Moscow area – orange.
