Artist Engin Çağlar, one of Yeşilçam's important names, lost his life in a traffic accident. Çağlar was buried at Zincirlikuyu Cemetery after funeral prayers performed at Şişli Central Mosque.
In the accident that happened yesterday around October 20 on Şişli Abide-i Hürriyet street, movie actor Engin Çağlar was hit by a motorbike while trying to cross the street. Seriously injured, Çağlar could not be saved despite all the interventions performed at the hospital where he was taken.
