The growth of tax revenue in Germany has slowed down.
According to the German Ministry of Finance, German and state tax revenue increased by 3 % in July compared to the same month of the previous year. This increase rate indicates slowing down compared to the previous month and partly due to reducing value added tax revenue. The total tax revenue in Europe's largest economy was 65.74 billion euros in July. According to the monthly report of the Ministry, income, salary and inheritance tax increased in this period. In June, tax revenue increased by more than 7 percent. In the first seven months of the year, the total tax collection of Germany was about 513.3 billion euros, which means an increase of 7.4 % over the same period last year.
