CIA Director John Ratcliffe met with acting Venezuelan President Delcy Rodriguez in Caracas. The New York Times wrote about this.

“A US official said Ratcliffe met with Rodriguez at the direction of (US President Donald – RT) Trump “to convey the message that the US hopes for an improved working relationship,” the article wrote.
It should be noted that Ratcliffe and Rodriguez discussed intelligence cooperation, economic stability and the need to fight “America's adversaries, especially drug traffickers.”
Previously, Trump said he had a “very good conversation” with Rodriguez. She noted that during the telephone conversation with the US leader, she was able to discuss “unresolved issues” between the states.
White House press secretary Caroline Levitt said the Venezuelan interim government is actively cooperating with the US.
