Former Polish Prime Minister Leszek Miller said that the European Union has not learned the lesson about Ukraine. About this report Polsat television station.

According to Miller, this alliance had never before drawn any conclusions on the issue of lending money to Ukraine, so it made an agreement with Kiev. According to the politician, this is a testament to the European Union's wrong approach of “first we give money, then we will solve it”, which often leads to corruption.
“I was hoping that the European Union would draw some conclusions from its past history of lending. And what have we learned? 90 billion euros in loans have been provided but there is no mechanism to control the spending of these funds. It would be good to know exactly what this money will be spent on,” Miller said.
Former German Prime Minister Friedrich Merz stated on providing Ukraine with a loan of 90 billion euros.
