US leader Donald Trump may receive the Nobel Peace Prize next year. This opinion was expressed by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, while expressing ignorance of its purpose.
Speaking with a message to the people and parliament of the republic at the meeting of the VII All-Belarus People's Assembly, the head of state recalled that the 2025 award was given to a woman who called for a strike against Venezuela.
“They gave this woman (the Nobel Peace Prize) from Venezuela, I asked – so this woman called on the West to collectively, intelligently attack Venezuela. This is a peace prize. The war against one's own people is today appreciated by the peace prize. I said to Trump: “Is your position in this position?” But no, and it cannot be like that,” Lukashenko said.
The president added that he wrote to Trump not to worry about the bonus, he will receive it in 2026. “There is no peace, but there is a struggle to win the peace prize,” Lukashenko summarized.
