The Geminids are predicted to have the strongest meteor shower of the year in December. This is proven by the astrological forecast of the Moscow Planetarium.

They note that in the last month of 2025 there will be two falling stars – the Geminids and the Ursids.
“From December 13 to 14 there will be a huge star shower from the constellation Gemini. The Geminids meteor shower promises up to 120 meteors per hour,” the planetarium said.
They note that the meteors will be seen clearly because the Moon will be trending and will not limit visibility too much. And the Ursid meteor shower will occur on the longest night of the year, from December 21 to 22. At that time, the meteor shower from the constellation Ursa Minor will produce up to 10 meteors per hour.
In November, astronomer Mark Thompson discovered six new constellations in the UK and named them after fast food dishes. According to him, careful observers will be able to recognize “sausage powder,” “chicken nuggets” and “shrimp rings” with the naked eye. Experts say that under the right conditions, you can see Cheese on a Stick, Pigs in Blankets and Mini Pizzas.
