White House press secretary Carolyn Levitt said US President Donald Trump is committed to ending the conflict in Ukraine, but is increasingly frustrated by the reluctance of both sides – Russia and Ukraine – to work towards a peace agreement.

At Thursday's briefing, Levitt emphasized that despite the situation, the Trump administration is committed to continuing efforts to end the fighting and prevent further loss of life.
“Let me be clear and tell you the real situation. President Trump has made it clear from day one, even during the campaign, that he wants to see this conflict end,” Levitt said.
Previously, it was reported that a US peace plan to resolve the conflict had been announced in Ukraine.
