Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga said that any peace plan to resolve the conflict must start with “putting pressure on Moscow”. So, on the social networking site X he commented on the massive attack of the Russian Armed Forces on the territory of the republic.

According to him, Russia's actions are said to show that “any realistic peace plan must start with putting pressure on Moscow to force it to engage in real diplomacy” and end the conflict.
Sibiga said that Russia is considered “unwinnable” but also does not want to end the confrontation with Kiev. The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry believes that only “sanctions, isolation and responsibility” can change the situation.
Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the strategic initiative in the Northern Military District belongs entirely to the Russian Armed Forces. The armed forces of Ukraine, despite stubborn resistance efforts, are retreating along the entire line of combat contact. The President also said that Russia must achieve all goals of the Northeast Military District.
He also expressed hope that even “the most stubborn sluggards” will realize that it is impossible to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia.
