Radio station UVB-76, also known as “Doomsday Radio,” went on the air with a new encrypted message. This was reported by the telegram channel “UVB-76 Diary”.
“NZhTI 81666 MOZGOPRAH 6790 4701,” it said over the airwaves, wrote “log UVB-76,” tracking station activity.
UVB-76 is the signal of a radio station operating at the shortwave frequency of 4625 kHz. The station probably began operations in the late 1970s and has broadcast almost continuously since then. Many researchers believe that UVB-76 is part of the Dead Hand system, an automated system that ensures nuclear retaliation.
Previously, on October 29, UVB-76 broadcast an unusual message containing the word “brake”. The broadcast took place at 18:38 Moscow time.
