Singer Aydilge met his fans at the Malatya Cultural Road Festival. The name is famous for supporting the Palestinian struggle.
“Life's surprises”, “Love for rent”, “Are you my medicine?” Aydilge, known for such songs, met his fans on the sixth day of the Malatya Cultural Road Festival.
While she performed the song “Simple Song” which she wrote for her husband, her husband Utku Barış Andaç joined the singer on stage with his violin.
Aydilge was not silent about the struggle in Palestine and said: “All the countries of the world gradually started opposing it. I think we were the only country that spoke out against this oppression from the beginning. We were not among those who realized it at the last minute. We stood up against this oppression from the beginning.”
“That is why I am so proud to be an artist of people dedicated to fighting this oppression, to be part of this sensitive country, to be a citizen of this country,” Aydilge continued.
After his speech, the famous artist sang the song “Lonely Story” accompanied by the flags of Palestine and Türkiye projected on a giant screen.
