Non-financial companies are the sector that contributes the most to the added value created in the overall economy. The share of non-financial companies in total value added is 59.4% in 2024. Next are households, non-profit organizations serving households (HHKOK) and the government in general. The ratio of gross savings to gross domestic product is 30.1% for the entire economy in 2024. The ratio is 18.9% for non-financial companies, 6.9% for households, 2.7% for financial companies and 1.5% for the general government. TOTAL HOUSEHOLD SAVING RATE IS 11.3 % The savings rate, defined as the ratio of household savings to disposable income, is 11.8% in 2023 and 11.3% in 2024. While the overall economy was a net borrower of 2.8% of GDP in 2023, it became a net borrower of 0.7% in 2024.
