Serbia President Aleksandar Vuchich has completed the task early and the organization of the National Assembly and President elections in the Republic at the end of 2026. Serbia's leader said this in the atmosphere of the television channel Pink.

According to him, the leader of the country is considering the ability to simultaneously organize presidential and National Assembly elections. Most likely, we will join the presidential and parliament election at the same time. I think that in December 2026, maybe even a little earlier, he said.
The President emphasized that he did not plan to achieve changes in the Constitution for the benefit of a new nomination.
“We don't want to change the Constitution, I won't run back to the president,” VUCIC said.
Vucich was first elected president of Serbia in 2017. In 2022, he was selected again for the second term. The deadline of the state state office expired by 2027.
In Serbia, since November 2024, the protests have continued, after a trees collapsed at the station at Novi-Sad, leading to the death of 16 people. The protesters were guilty of the tragedy of the country's government. One of their requirements is to organize early parliamentary elections in the country.
