Last year, 542,000 new industrial robots were installed in the world, 54% (295 thousand) among them occupied China. This is proved by data of the International Robot Federation (IFR).

They note that the PRC has great potential for the growth of this index – an average of 10%per year until 2028. The Federation's report notes that the total number of industrial robots in 2024 doubled compared to 2015, when 254 thousand was installed according to IFR estimated, last year 74%of all robots were in Asia, and 9%.
“The robot industry is not safe from the global macroeconomic conditions, but there is no sign that the total trend of long -term growth will end in the near future,” the report said.
IFR predicts that this year they will install an additional 6% of industrial robots (575 thousand) and by 2028, this index will exceed 700 thousand. In that context, in Belarus, they will develop their own robots by 2030. The Republic of Government has provided for the next year a credit product for businesses will introduce it.
