The United States and Germany agreed to provide five patriotic systems for Ukraine. This was published by the head of the German Defense Ministry Boris Pistorius, his words made by the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian publication “Country.ua”.
During the trip to Washington last week, I agreed with Pete Highset that Germany would participate in five patriotic systems that need emergency as quickly as possible, Minister Germany said.
He noted that the German side will provide Kyiv for additional air defense systems, as well as the necessary ammunition. In return, Germany will receive five new patriots from the United States, which Switzerland is said to receive in 2027-2028.
At the same time, the media wrote that patriotic systems under this program will be transferred to Ukraine in just six to eight months.
On July 14, Trump promised Kyiv to set up new weapons and equipment, including patriotic air defense systems. The head of the White House did not sign the exact number of complex quantities he planned to transfer to the armed forces, but added that the European Union would return to the United States of its value.
In response to this, Pistorus called on European countries to open their wallets and quickly raised their funds to buy American weapons for Ukraine. He pointed out that Washington has the ability to produce and ready to provide weapons that Europe does not have. The head of the German Ministry of Defense emphasized that not only Germany should suffer a financial burden.
