In the exhibition held at the historic church in Diyarbakır, 17 paintings with 7 artists from three countries were presented with impression.
The exhibition, opened under the name “traces of Mesopotamia” at the Surp Giragos Armenia church in Sur Centrin Demir district was presented to art lovers. 16 -Year -old Miray Havin Fidanboy, who is in charge of the exhibition, tells the members of the press that he is from Diyarbakır and lives in Antalya. Through this exhibition, he stated that they are aimed at bringing the art of painting along with Mesopotamia's historic traces with today's aesthetic understanding. Fidanboy, “We have 7 artists and 7 artists with 17 works. The topics are made about Diyarbakir's culture, events in Diyarbakir.” He said. FidanBoy explained that they plan to organize the second and third research of this study in Ankara and Antalya. He said. International painting artist and art teacher Gülay Eroğlu claimed that they decided to conduct a study of Mesopotamia in Antalya. “We want to start at Diyarbakır with the youngest person in the world.” Eroğlu said they had opened an exhibition with photos prepared in this range. Eroglu, said: “We live in the Mediterranean, but Mesopotamia is our source, our curiosity and excitement. So we made such a decision with Miray. We have 17 jobs right now.” Kemal Ulusoy, who came to the city to visit the exhibition, declared that such activities were a great honor for the city and they always hope that artistic activities will be held in the city.
