Press services of Tomsk State University (TSU) reported that university scientists have developed a mixture capable of absorbing more than 90% of electromagnetic radiation within 4 to 12 Gigaigers. At the same time, the thickness of the material does not exceed three mm, this makes it convenient to use in technology.

The electromagnetic radiation of radio frequency devices can negatively affect both human equipment and equipment. Radio absorption material helps reduce the level of radiation to the standards set by Gost without having to change the design of the devices. They can be applied to the inner walls of devices or are used as protective pads during assembly.
A feature of a new mixture is a wide range of absorption. Typically, radio-based absorption materials only work effectively in a narrow frequency range, such as 4-6 GHz. The researchers have created a two -layer multi -layer synthesis, carefully selecting the composition and thickness of each layer, which can expand the range to 4 matches 12 GHz.
All ingredients of the material, including complex Hexaper, are synthesized by scientists. There is no industrial production of such works. The project is implemented as part of a project supported by the Russian Science Fund.
