The central bank decides interest rate in August! CBRT interest rate determines the calendar 2025

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) makes its interest in the interest rate decision focusing on the market after the PPK meeting. Finally, the interest rate decision was announced on July 24 and the interest rate decreased by 300 basic points. Expectations are different in all segments. The Monetary Policy Committee meets in September to announce the new interest rate decision. The market decided the interest rate of the central bank in September has been noticed.

The interest rate decision was announced in July. According to the decision, policy benefits have decreased to 43 percent. The bank's lending interest rate within the night limit has been withdrawn from 49 % to 46 %. In addition, the bank announced surveys of inflation expectations in August. According to the survey, the current expectation of consumer inflation (CPI) is currently 29.66 % in the previous survey period, while 29.69 % in the Bounge period.

CBRT is holding a meeting of monetary policy committee on September 11 for the interest rate decision in August. After the meeting, the interest rate decision will be announced at the same time at 14:00.

In the announcement of interest rates, the bank decided to reduce the bidding interest rate by one week to 300 basic points, decided to reduce the policy rate to 43 %.

Other bank meetings in 2025 will be held on October 23 and 11, 2025.
