Face ID technology has been used in iPhone for many years, including budget models, but it has not been deliberately introduced in iPad Air to maintain a difference with top tablets. Until now, the updates of the line have gone down to change the chip, improve the camera with the support for the central phase and expand the model range due to the 13 -inch version.
Analysts note that now iPad Pro has a competitive advantage-a thin case, OLED screen with updated frequency of 120 Hz, nano text cover and magic keyboard. Therefore, adding an ID to iPad Air will not lead to internal competition.
Experts believe that the new generation of iPad Air can strengthen the position of the model in the average segment between the base iPad and the leading iPad Pro, as well as return the interest in the device, in fact not experiencing changes since 2020.
