Chinese company Zinwa Technologies has announced the intention to breathe new life into the BlackBerry button phone once. The first model that the company introduced was BlackBerry Q20, also known as BlackBerry Classic.
Zinwa has completely updated the device at a hardware level. The Snapdragon S4 processor has been replaced by Helio G99. The amount of RAM increased from 2 GB to 12 GB, manufactured – from 16 GB to 256 GB. The main camera is improved from 8 megapixels to 50 megapixels. The front camera is improved from 2 megapixels to 8 megapixels. Battery capacity increases from 2515 mAh to 3000 mAh. The outdated micro-USB has been replaced by a more modern USB-C connector.
The updated phone is currently operating on Android 13: This OS has replaced BlackBerry OS 10. The shell and square screen with diagonal diagonal is 3.5 “and 720 × 720 pixel resolution remains unchanged.
Zinwa plans to sell smartphones with limited quantities called Zinwa Q25 Pro for $ 420.
If the demand is high, the manufacturer will consider the possibility of releasing other models with the QWERTY keyboard: BlackBerry Passport and KEYone, also operating on Android, but has been considered outdated.
